Bovine Colostrum is the substance produced by cows during the first 36 hours after birth. It is life’s first food and is used for immunoglobulins, growth factors, vitamins, minerals, antibodies, amino acids, and other enzymes. This combination of substances is used to help replace the immunoglobulin’s needed to fight disease and the growth factors we need for the healthy growth of muscles, bones and skin our bodies lose as we age. A high percentage of the antibodies and immunoglobulin’s in colostrums remains in our intestinal tract unabsorbed where it attacks disease causing organisms before they penetrate the body.
